The story
Euljiro is Seoul’s workshop — printing presses, tile merchants, lighting shops. When rents rose elsewhere, young bartenders and artists moved into the upper floors, changed nothing about the staircases, and put a bar behind a steel door. Locals nicknamed it “Hipjiro”. Half the fun is not being sure you’re in the right building.
