Three levels: a fish market in the basement, dried seafood and street snacks on the ground floor, restaurants upstairs. It is the biggest octopus market in the Yeongdong region, the east side of Gangwon, and the dakgangjeong got famous off a TV show.
Open all year, about 640 meters from Myeongju-dong. Upstairs is where you sit down — samsugi-tang, a peppery sculpin stew, is the local order.
